With the extensive network of servers and IP addresses they offer, Akamai SureRoute will be able to route traffic faster and more efficiently.
Using their technology will help safeguard against interruptions caused by issues beyond our direct control, such as Internet congestion, fiber cable cuts and other similar issues.
Additionally, in the coming weeks, merchants connected to Akamai should no longer be affected by planned downtimes.
Updates were planned in two phases, and will complete and implemented by 30 June, 2016.
The new Akamai SureRoute transaction URLs that are available now are:
- https://api2.authorize.net/soap/v1/Service.asmx
- https://secure2.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll
Note: This update is for Authorize.net SIM version, link mentioned above, only. For AIM And Pro Versions of plugin, we will have this update over the weekend.
